ABOUT TIM PURSEY

I grew up in Glastonbury and attended the local schools of St John’s, St Benedict’s and St Dunstan’s before going on the study at College in Yeovil and Norwich.

I worked locally and in Bristol for 9 years in mainly Customer Service based roles before deciding to return to study Podiatry as a Mature Student in Northampton.

After a 3 year full time Podiatry degree, I graduated with honours in 2005 and joined the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists, and became a member of the Health & Care Professions Council which allows me to use the protected title of Podiatrist.

I returned to Glastonbury in 2005 where I have provided care for a number of private patients.  The majority of my time has been spent working for the National Health Service across Somerset from 2005 - 2015.  I worked in Local Hospitals, Doctors Surgeries, and purpose built clinics providing a range of podiatry treatments to the local community.

I specialised in the management of diabetic patients and wound care whilst developing my leadership responsibilities which resulted in the management of the community podiatry service across Somerset for 6 years.

Privately I aim to provide high quality customer focused treatments where I can work individually with patients giving everybody the time and attention they need and building lasting clinical relationships based on trust, respect and clinical excellence.
